My religious views have changed a bit since this stamp . I'm really not flatly an atheist. I've looked at pantheism. I started reading Cloud Atlas and that got me thinking about reincarnation and what happens to the energy we have after we die. Hell, I've even thought we're just in The Matrix. I just don't know. What I do know is: science has actually give us answers and progress.[link]

Dude, I totes respect your looking at Pantheism and such. I'm a "strong" atheist, and it kinda does suck a little being this cynical. I really don't think anything like reincarnation or spirits exist, but part of me does reach out to those concepts from time to time. I mean, I like pantheism because it's basically worshipping the universe just for being it's awesome cosmic self, and reincarnation almost seems sensible because all our atoms and energy will always exist, so in a way, if my carbon molecules end up in a tree, am I not reincarnated as that tree, since my chemical elements are once again part of a living thing? But in the meaningful sense, like my consciousness or spirit surviving, I mean, everything that makes me "me" is in my brain, and that thing is gonna rot away and never again will molecules be arranged in the exact configuration of my brain. So... I mean, that kinda blows.Β
