This is the headshot trade with ~Lunaries . It's her character, Nrr. He's totally cool. C:So, anyway, went totally all-out on this just because I'm tired of my artwork failing so much. I wanted to make something "oogle-worthy" by the time I went back to school. It's also a super-late birthday present to Lish because I didn't have time to make her one around her birthday. :C
Why must your birthday be at the end of the school year, Lish?
Nrr was actually a plain purple gryphon... but Lish let me redesign him a bit. If you'll notice, Lish, I removed the eye spots. Sorry about that, but it looked too much leik OMG! IR TOTALLY PUNK MAN. ....thing.
I hate it when people make emo or punk characters just to make them seem "cool."
Those feathers were a pain. I hope I uploaded it at a big enough size for you guys to see the detail.

Medium: Traditionally inked. Then colored in Photoshop Elements.
Time taken: Erg. I dunno.....5 hours to draw (because I never draw gryphons). About 10-15 hours to color? :/

Really? I'm planning on resizing the piece so that the feather detail is more apparent. That's where most my coloring time went to, actually. I'm so slow at detail. -sad face-
