Description
ImageA bright spell of weather has brought a feeling of spring around the country, I took advantage of the good weather and headed to the west cornish coast yesterday. Even though I have visited this part of the coastline many times its still new to me so the day was spent scouting out locations for future shoots. In the evening I decided to head to Cape Cornwall and to the bay that lies to the north. The sea was fairly unpredictable and the tide was high, limiting my compositions and the time I had at each spot, in the process I was caught out by one rouge wave and got soaked, nevertheless I found enough time to capture the setting sun and this swirl of water before the next big wave. I then set of the task of squelching my way back to the car.

Great shot here. What I specially like is the little twirl going on in teh water there. Adds some life in the shot.
Nice!

Great shot once again Guy, I had a go last night to I must be loosing the plot or something cos not one came out in focus. Well the land and rocks did but the water, hell you would think i was doing it manually with my eyes closed lol.

That's a real nice long exposure. Excellent composition. Do you use neutral density filters to decrease shutter speed, or is it just getting dark?

This is a blend of 3 exposures, tbh I would prefer to use filters as I wouldn't spend so much time in front of this monitor...
