Description
ImageA bright spell of weather has brought a feeling of spring around the country, I took advantage of the good weather and headed to the west cornish coast yesterday. Even though I have visited this part of the coastline many times its still new to me so the day was spent scouting out locations for future shoots. In the evening I decided to head to Cape Cornwall and to the bay that lies to the north. The sea was fairly unpredictable and the tide was high, limiting my compositions and the time I had at each spot, in the process I was caught out by one rouge wave and got soaked, nevertheless I found enough time to capture the setting sun and this swirl of water before the next big wave. I then set of the task of squelching my way back to the car.

the view is amazing, It's like I'm looking at a sea of clouds...
and the distant mountain and the beautiful sky finish the picture perfectly
It reminds me of last week (I was in Italy, on a mountain )
I made pictures too, but only with my cellphone :\
I don't own a camera (too bad T_T...)
Keep up the good work
anyway, this is a sight to remember, I fave this one

Aww, I love everything about it! The soft pastels of the sky, the water's texture, the composition! Lovely work Guy!

Lovely shot Guy. I think I can see a few lens marks in the image though you might want to edit out. One in the sea below the rock off centre right and another in the sky, though that might be cloud.
Getting caught by a wave is all part of the fun.

The clarity and texture of the rocks in the foreground is excellent, and i love that little whirlpool. Im not too keen on the background, it looks a little dark and dull, but I think thats only due to the glossyness of the foreground. Another great shot all the same.

I agree with you there, the sky wasn't giving much and the colours where pretty flat, thats why I concentrated on making the foreground as appealing as possible.
