Looking through the archives I found this image I took at Perranporth one spectacular evening in Novemeber. I had to constantly change my composition as the sun set due to the incoming tide which can become a nuisance sometimes but did create these wonderful patterns in the water. I made my exposures before retreating to a safer distance as I watched the beach disappear under the waves.

beautifull picture i was trying to get one like this in scarborough the other week but it just didnt work, the sun was setting, the tide coming in... but tourists kept geting in the way.

It can be very tricky especially at some beaches where the tide runs in faster than you can walk! I tend to steer away from the beaches during the summer holidays for that reason tbh or just get up for sunrise
