Description
My own hand 2 x the original size. The result is about 60 cm high. Plaster (metal frame inside).Base in french limestone (1,3 meter, 160 kilogram).

I agree that a figurative can be refreshing, but it's hard to get it exactly right and at the same time not getting lost in details.

Not directly or with any instrument.
Because itβs made at 2 x the original size of my hand, it was easy to take measurements in order to make a correct wire frame (armature).
On that wire frame I made the sculpture in waterbased clay.
I have to admit my hand isnβt that agile, the pose is a bit exaggerated.
