A truly clever sculpture, it has that minimalist feel yet accomplishes so much! Rare lifelike quality.

Thanks!
I appreciate your compliment especially because your own work is so rich in detail and in a sense the opposite of this. But now i've come to think about it, I love your work too. Opposites attract ...

Thank you... you're too kind and very right, opposites attracts... and forms a "richer whole" of human essence...

J'adore ce sens de l'Γ©pure,
Je repense à un croquis de Matisse au musée de Nice, un croquis de sa femme d'un trait continu, on a non seulement la ressemblance, mais une atmosphère.
Eh bien lΓ , c'est pareil.
Chapeau bas.

ah the final touches. looks great, well done. the rough stone base kind of completes the whole thing, makes a nice contrast with the elegant sculpture.

Thanks for noticing. It's strange how details like the base can occupy my minds for weeks.

Wow! I think you captured the essence of the cat perfectly~ As soon as I saw it I thought 'Wow that's really cool! It looks like a cat!' even before I read the artist's comments. Wonderful job!

This is amazing, At first glance I saw nothing but an abstract shape, then it seemed animalistic. then looking at the different angles it looked like a very elegant cat sitting. great work.

The first time I saw this thumbnail I just thought abstract sculpture.
The second time I glanced I immediately realized it was a cat.

You really have captured the essence of a cat here!! So full of grace and beauty, and I love how the front paws are just barely touching the stone, giving the cat a light airy feel. Fantastic!! And it looks so lovely from all angles as well. You really have done a wonderful job!
