You know, it's time someone said it like it is. I mean, I've had several childhood friends who've decided to become homosexuls over the years, and today, they're all IN JAIL, or DEAD. Somebody's gotta stop their agenda before it's too late and gays are accepted as full-fledged members of the human race!

Very nice, displays alot of the sterotypical idiotic view points of alot of people. No offense to those people but it's true. Good work. And I agree with AxD, you could probably get a job for political cartoons.

Get paid to do this? I don't know, if I accept a paycheck that means I'll have to answer to someone, then I'll be asked to reign it in because you can't take a risk pissing off the readers. Then I'll be all watered down and lame.

You can work on commision. If they don't like what you draw, you post it elsewhere and put that link in every other strip you draw. And in any case, there are plenty of magazines and newspapers that will take anything, no matter how controversial. Believe me, I'm from Madison, WI. We're like #2 on O'Reilly's "liberal city shit-list." After San Francisco. We have some insanely liberal cartoonists, and they can say pretty much anything. Also, The Onion has a fake political cartoon that's so sarcastic it makes me wince. I mean seriously:

I've got loads of those. I drove for 3 hours with my roomate's ex-roomate and all he did was tell dead baby jokes. Like:
What's worse? 10 dead babies in one garbage can, or 1 dead baby in 10 garbage cans?
What's green, smelly, and crawls up your girlfriends leg? That abortion you convinced her to have.
What gets louder as it gets smaller? A baby in a trash compacter.
Yeah. Bad jokes. Terrible jokes. But funnier than holocaust jokes...

This cartoon was made in direct response to a few comments made by conservatives right here on Deviant Art. Who definitely see homosexuality as an exclusively dangerous and subversive culture that threatens, as they put it, "American Values" (whatever those are supposed to be).

I actually voted Liberal. I'm not too fussed about how things turned out. The Liberals need a shake up to clean out the old guard and the conservatives have far too few seats to pass nutbar legislation. I see it as a good thing because the Conservatives will have to become the middle-of-the-road party we want them to be. I see conservatives jumping ship before the end of the year complaining "We've been in charge how long and we haven't even MOVED on abortion yet?" and split yet again to form something like the Alliance party.
Anyway, I've got a MESS of political based cartoons in the pipe. My goal is to receive a death threat from a conservative Christian like my hero Ted Rall gets every day. Moslims are too obvious and easy right now, like shooting fish in a barrel. I'm going for the brass ring. Keep your eyes peeled!
