Description: Often more recognizable by its ring-tail, blackish mask(which makes it looked more of a bandit at night.), and dexterous paws, which the name "arathkone," or "aroughcun" means "the one who rubs, scrubs, and scratches with its hands," in a Powhatan language. Who might happened to be the largest living procyonid that's native to North and Central Americas, the raccoon was among the most intelligent carnivorans, along with spotted hyenas, tigers, black bears, and one of your smartest breed of domestic dog you have(for example, the Border Collie.). Mother raccoons can take good care of their babies, which baby raccoons are called "kits," "cubs," or "pups." When they are sick from deadly diseases, you and your pets will have to stay away, or call the animal control officers from these dreaded little pests. Mothers can protect their kits from danger. Predators of the raccoons, are bobcats, coyotes, owls, jaguars, wolves, black bears, eagles, fisher martens, and alligators, for example.
