Description
My attempt at re-working the Vervoids. More than a bit inspired by Giuseppe Arcimboldo's paintings. Ironically, I drew the Vervoid in mnutes but spent hours trying to recreate Hyperion 3's tacky "Fairfield Inn in space" interior design.Related content

I don't get why the "Genocidal Plant" motif used here and a few other places never reach the same realization as Swamp Thing, that killing off animals will lead to Oxygen suffocation, not to mention a loss of pollinators.

Excellent. I mean, they were actually kind of cool looking back in the day as far as Who aliens went, but this is pushing it further.

Thanks! I like to think this is what they might've looked like if they'd had CGI back then, and not been stuck with a bunch of guys in suits. Like a lot of Who monsters, the basic idea was great but let down somewhat by budgetary realities (I think that often goes for modern Who too, actually). I also think this smaller, faster version would've been better suited to sneaking around in air vents (which happened a lot in that story).

The detail in this is stunning! Fantastic work... there's so much depth to the picture, i can really visualise the movement.
If I might make a critique, the thick linework looks a little cumbersome. For this level of detail, thinner lines would have worked better.
