I'm baacck...heheh it's only week two, but it doesn't feel real yet. I actually almost forgot to post today XD

Author's Notes:

- Last year, in October, I was supposed to go to japan for the first time in my life, as it's somewhere i've wanted to go since I was very young. I actually bought my tickets in dec. 2019, and had everything else reserved by feb 2020....needless to say THAT didn't happen lmao. BUT in that time, I got to research and explore what it's like to really travel to a place. All the things you have to take into account. All the reservations you have to make. Different lodgings, modes of transport, etc etc It was all so foreign to me as somebody whose never been outside of the US (well cruises don't count imo) and to top it all off I was supposed to be traveling ALONE. So I had to extra make sure I was on top of things. While I never ended up going, that whole experience of prepping for it actually radically changed how I viewed Leftovers. I'd been somewhat aware of needing places to stay and all that beforehand, but I was just not privy to the MULTITUDES of different lodging and travel situations that open themselves up to you when you're in a new place. Hostels, of course, were one of the main things I ended up looking into. And discovering the fact that workers sometimes use them instead of going home if they work in a different city. Thus the TEMPstations Inn (and more importantly, a certain type of trainer culture) was born.

- I just. I love Maxene so much And the banter between her and Gidget is really fun to write. Just two old souls being soft knuckleheads

- This scene was supposed to be COMPLETELY different, as were alot of scenes in the entirety of this arc. Not sure if I wanna go into all of them when they pop up or if I wanna save that for the concept sketchbooks later but Sammy was originally supposed to be here. As was Pemma. In the end though I was reaching maximum scene bloat with all the characters

- "Sometimes you just have to let people hash out their differences" aka if you know you know >>v>>
