Hoenn, being currently in the equivalent of 2006, is deep in its tabloid era. Every couple years they pick a group of the “Most Eligible Bachelors of Hoenn” and interview them to encourage other residents of the region to better themselves. There is also a “Most Eligible Bachelorettes” version. What can I say, Hoenn likes pretty people…

Oh hey! We finally get to see what happened to wally after he split off from Asadi in chapter 4. And it is…unfortunate. Pops is understandably very angry at Norman for putting his son in harms way.

It’s crazy how much I just didn’t care about the elite four or even the champion from playing the games way back when. They were just non characters. But between ORAS and mostly writing them myself, i’ve really come to love them. I hope you enjoy their antics throughout the rest of this chapter.

I finally get to introduce Lady! Short, Short woman ~ Oh! And glacia! We haven’t seen her in this comic before either

His name’s not stated on this page, but that is indeed Vincent! The very same Linoone Sammy went up against in chapter 3.
