Mm. Delicious. This totally isn’t awkward for all parties involved (yes, including me.)

I hope cohen’s reaction to Asadi in general here comes as a bit of a surprise. I don’t think it’s a side i’ve explored on main before. But i’m definitely going more into it later. Also I get to show off the way Cohen sees! Which was an experience to come up with, and something I hinted at back in chapter 13. It’s a combination of vibrations (which isn’t unique to makuhitas. Most cave dwellers with bad vision can sense stuff like that) and vibes (which is). On vibes, here is a Key for how to read them. They’re not necessarily foolproof since readings are prone to perception. So if you think someone who is happy is actually faking it, that can affect your reading...As Haru mentioned, their actual eyesight gets better as they age. It’ll never be 100% as a makuhita, but Cohen being older can make out things close to his level and even faces if he focuses hard enough.

Hehehe.. remember this…? That’s one of the benefits of plotting an arc altogether. I get to be sneaky on purpose instead of retroactively calling back to things.

Of all the juicy content on this page, Sammy and Kiba having a deep discussion about the properties of sand holds a special place in my heart. You leave them alone for one second.
