If ya'll thought the tension before was nutty, you better strap in. I got my master's in discomfort this chapter.
The characters sitting at the table in the beginning (well, besides Joe from last chapter) are based off of my irl friends and the pokemon they wanted to appear with. They're part of the same friend group as Goomy guy from a few pages ago
I just love taking lil nuggets of things you guys give me and putting them into leftovers in some way haha outside of cameos, it's kinda like my way of giving back for ya'll supporting me. The scene of Sammy's ADORABLE chewing was inspired by a comment left on a Sammy sketchdump by celdragon , like, 3 years ago XD It was too cute not to use in some way shape or form.
LOL OKAY SO rereading this, it's always looked like Asadi was taking glee in Cohen not being able to handle the spicy pokeblocks but I promise she didn't get them to purposely put him through it XD In actuality, she just picked the colors based on how she perceived everyone's personalities. And yes, that does say alot about how she views cohen.
I used a more muted color palette for this chapter, inspired by the more realistic colors in Krisantyne 's First summer. My friend calls it Dusty Pastel Aesthetic haha This is definitely my favorite palette since chapter 10's.
