This is my alternate take on Voxman's resolution from the recent Ok Ko finale. My extension to the scene that serves as their canon resolution can be found here.
I loved the cake, and the flash fusions, and the fact that they're married and the fact that fink is a gamer girl and darrel is a farmer and G OD. Boxman in a sweater living his life can end me.
But, nevertheless I left the finale feeling conflicted. I had to take the time to write it out today, these feelings. Over several pages. And i realized what I was missing.

While the canon finale gave me a relationship confirmation, I don't feel like it gave me a conflict resolution. Not when it came to the specific thing that had just happened with voxman and not some other unrelated event years down the line (as implied by boxman's "here we go again".um. AGAIN??)
I needed to know they were taking a step towards healing. Because alot was said and done between the two of them and I felt a little cheated that the direct apology about that was kind of gimped by the "president of the universe"'s decison. You know the one.

Anyway, here's some sappy shit for your sabbath eve. Bonus points to anyone who can point out the reference. I'm nothing if not a hoe for good callbacks
