Description

This is the second successful AX-series Evangelion that was put into service, despite the AX-γ beginning production beforehand. Similar to the AX-β, this Evangelion has incorporated some of Ramiel’s natural abilities. Though not as nimble as the original Angel was when it was attacking, this is still one of the fastest Evangelion. It has limited form reconfiguration abilities, mainly used to reform its hands into drill-like blades. It is a painful experience for both the Evangelion and pilot, but more reliable as the blades can not be dropped and can be regenerated within minutes if destroyed. Due to the original Angel’s overly hostile nature, Ramiel’s soul has been exceptionally difficult to dominate during tests. On more than one field test, the pilot had almost lost control of a berserk Evangelion that had tried to slash through everything in its path. Fortunately, Cho SeBin is the only pilot who has been able to control this Evangelion back into a cooperative state.
