Description
Despite obtaining genetic material from Shamshel shortly after the AX-β began production, delays in adapting his natural abilities to the armor required the Evangelion to be relocated to the NERV base in China, as per the limitations of active Evangelion of the Treaty of Venice. As a result of the complications, this unit required armor components from earlier Evangelion design templates. Xuan Xie-Ren joined the Chinese Air Force shortly after the Second Impact and had been able to master any next generation vehicle she had been ordered to pilot. As the AX-series Evangelion do not require an adolescent pilot, the Chinese Air Force were eager to collaborate with NERV by sending one of their best pilots. Once Shamshel’s soul was successfully integrated into the Adam-based clone, dominating it was deceptively easy. It almost appeared that Shamshel enjoyed co-inhabiting a body with another presence; still a major cause of concern to many NERV personnel.
