Description
The destruction of the 8th Angel above Tokyo-3 resulted in a great amount of genetic material for SEELE to continue with their AX project. In an attempt to honor the Treaty of Venice (at least before the release of the Mass Produced Evangelion), SEELE had ordered the installation of Sahaquiel’s soul into the body of Euro’s reserve Evangelion, which had been kept separate after relinquishing the rights of Unit-02 to Tokyo-3. Special modifications were added to the armor to allow for the featherlike tendrils to grow out of her back and upper arms, creating a resonating sensor array. These tendrils emit a type of low-radiation plasma, allowing the Eva to detect subtle changes in the air around her. Lukas Wolfsohn, a young, but decorated officer of the European Defense Forces, was selected to be the pilot. Domination occurred quickly, as it appeared as though the soul of the original angel developed a profound respect for its new companion.
