Description
I used the old school Cantonese romanization rather than Pinyin this year, and I'm a day or two late for the start, but here's your ox. He radiates a quiet, bovine serenity (and the Chinese New Year girl looks happier to see him than she did about last year's rat ).Depending on who you ask, this year is 4707, 4706, or 4646 by the Chinese calendar. I went with the high number for no good reason.
Ink drawing colored in photoshop.
Happy New Year!

Thanks!
I've been trying to do one every year, more or less around the time of the big celebration and parade here in SF; here's also the year of the Rabbit - [link] the Tiger - [link] and the Rat - [link]
