Hi!More sketches again, this time technical stuff- more specifically turrets. I made these when I was imagining what sort of turrets would I make if I could make a tower defence game(sort of). They're divided into tiers, but in fact the two first make little sense since there's so different types compared to the ones that come later. I suppose you could say they're the "basic" level turrets and then the rest are better divided into three categories: anti-infantry turrets which have autocannons, gatling guns and lasers, short-range artillery which are comprised of cannons, multi-barreled cannons and rotary cannons and finally rocket artillery which have different sizes of rockets and missiles(some of them MIRV). There are some other considerations as to how they're categorized, but I think it's fairly obvious. Or not.

Ahaa, no se selittääkin sen. Hyvin menee taas näiden vuorojen kanssa minulla... pitäisiköhän vaihtaa Hellbound vaan viikottaiseksi julkaisuksi että lisää sen pari sivua vaikka sunnuntaina tms.? Ainakin pysyisin aikataulussa. :/

Joo... tosiaan sinne sivuille voisi värkätä erikseen nettisarjisosion, kun niitä nyt on ainakin yksi. Muutenkin sivuille on suunnitteilla vähän uudistuksia.

Im not sure I agree with the 'less is more' system used for the rocket turret lineup. Maybe texture would help sell that those are nukes or something, but the singular rocket reads as less powerful than the MIRV setups.
That aside, these are some great designs, very inspirational.

Yeah, that was what I was going for... I was just too lazy to label the weapons and their effect separately on the image which would have helped. I imagined that the tier 6 rocket would be a MIRV- or cluster munition rocket that would more effectively and accurately cover a large area than the tier 5 multiple-rocket launcher Sort of like an artillery barrage but longer range and instant effect. The smaller rockets in that one would be less accurate and pack as much punch as an autocannon round, approximately. Wider area, but less damage potential and longer timespan for the rockets to land. Or so I figured, anyway... the tier 8 would then be the extra- large nuclear/chemical/whatever with even superior attack power.
Personally my favourite out of these designs is the tier 6 cannon, just looks good.
