You're cats name is Boots? I had a dog named Boots. Did you name him that because he looks like he was boots on?

It is because of her markings...we were toying with either 'Socks' or 'Boots', but we already know another cat called 'Socks'. Actually, if you look at her here [link] you can see that boots isn't all that appropriate a name as her white extend a lot higher than what you would expect for a pair of boots! We were in a rush to come up with a name at that time.
A friend of ours had taken in this pregnant stray cat which had found her way to this friend's front door. She cared for it, and it gave birth to seven cuties. Then our friend's asthma came back from the overload of cat hair in the house, so she had to give away the kitties real fast. She found homes for some of them and we agreed to take in the remaining four - the mother [link] , one tabby kitten [link] , one white kitten [link] and this one.
