Description
Besides the Rhino armored personnel carrier and Land Raider, the Space Marine Legions also use several specialists and one-off armored fighting vehicles (AFVs) known as "Funnies". These are made for a specific situation or succeeded where more standard armored vehicles failed. Most of these AFVs are specific to a particular Legion. Others such as the Land Raider Helios developed from a battlefield modification of an existing vehicle became a sanctioned pattern within the Legions.

Featured here is a close support Land Raider armed with a Plasma Culverin. Usually deployed on Kataphron Battle Servitors, the Plasma Culverin is a type of heavy Plasma Weapon that sacrifices range for a high rate of fire.
