The Deimos Predator Infernus can also be armed with a turret-mounted Magna-Melta in place of its Flamestorm Cannon. The Megna-Melta is a powerful Melta Weapon that uses a miniature fusion reaction to produce a blast of intense, searing heat capable of reducing armored targets to molten slag.
The 11th Legion reserves its fleet of Magna-melta armed Predator Infernus for urban combat, where melta weapons are devastating against armored vehicles and combatants. The Magna-melta is particularly useful for opening up breaches in defenses and clearing obstacles.

Designed to be fitted on space assault craft like the Caestus Assault Ram, the Magna-melta is a heavy, vehicle-mounted, heat ray cannon made to turn starship armor into slag.
