Description
After sunrise from white pocket, we decided to head to a location closer to Flagstaff for any possible sunset. With the way the clouds were looking, we figured this was the best choice. After arriving at this spectacular canyon that seemed to be seldom visited (from the point we accessed by) we headed to the rim to explore the vantage points. Within a matter of minutes the sun broke through the clouds allowing for about 20 minutes of amazing light just in the canyon. The dark skies in the distant made a nice contrast and eventually the clouds closed up for good leaving us without a sunset. This was a perfect case of being at the right place at the right time. I couldn't imagine what we would have done if we left any later. I added a handful of images from my travels last week, so take a look and let me know what you think. I'll probably post a few more from this outing.Northern Arizona.
