Description This little sandpiper was following some black necked stilts in what looked like a conga line with this little one in the back. Finally it ventured off closer to the shore and i was able to get a few photos before it escaped from my presence.

Aww, what an adorable little thing. Lovely picture! I love how the bird is against the blue water, but standing on the tan sand.

I love these birds! They are so fun to watch. I like how the sand pulls out the browns in the piper.

thanks! luckily the bird was on the edge of the water so it didnt blend in with the sand

Nice catchlight! I'd be tempted to take a good chunk off the top, it would appear like it was taken from a lower angle.
