on my way back home from the desert i encountered this cactus wren by the entrance...it just sat there and allowed me some photos posing from side to side...used a fill flash for this onecactus wren- Arizona

i believe you have them in texas...idk if they are all over the state but they can be seen that far east

What a lovely little bird We have a lot of wrens, in summer in the garden en now in the barn.No cactus-wrens of course.

thank you, im not 100% sure but i believe the cactus wren is only found in the desert areas of the southwest ranging from southern California to Texas and as far north as utah

The ones I have here are dark brown with a light belly, no spots.
