Watch it in motion on Youtube youtu.be/AZGvWgwkcSUThis gives you the look of the Yosemite finderbar for your Windows. It was made on and for Windows8.1, but it works on other Windows OS either. XP users cannot use all buttons, because the targets don't exist on their OS. Or they have to change them to their likings.
It's clear that some buttons only work if the target is available on your system:
Software update only works if Apple updater is installed.
Dockbutton works with Rocketdock, or you have to change the target to the dock you use
Cycle through Windows needs Vista or Windows7 to work. You can also activate this function on Windows8/8.
How to use:
You need Samurize to use this deviation.If you don't already have it, get it herewww.filehippo.com/de/download_… Click on direct download or they install a useless download manager.
Install Samurize in compatibility mode or you will get an error message.
Important: You must run the client.exe as administrator if you wanna use the finderbar. Otherwise the bar appears,but it will not work because of the UAC.
This is work in progress and will be regularly updated.

Hi, thanks for making this tutorial, its working very well on my laptop, but a slight problem, i cant click on finder, file or any other "buttons" on the finder, and i cant load multiple configs, can you help me?

the only way i do to make it functional is to open the config editor and link the shit out of it

This is a outdated version and uses CD Art Display as player. You can find it here
Newer version uses Samurize as player remote control.

Everything is fine so far. I'm still working on this to make it as close as possible to the original.May last some more days. Together with a good VS it can really give you the illusion to use a mac. The good thing is that it runs on all Windows OS. Windows10 included. Only most of the people don't know Samurize. I think a Rainmeter port would get more interest. But i'm not motivated enough atm to make one.

On Windows7 you must install Samurize in compatibility mode. If you don't see the trayicon, you made something wrong.Rightclick on the client.exe and run the compatibility troubleshooter.

Trayicons are the little icons on the right side of your taskbar besides the clock. There should be a little round grey icon with an "S" on it. Rightclick on it opens the controls of Samurize. If you find it click on select configfile and on finder.ini afterwards.

You can use the 1368 file. You will se no difference.

Can you give me more details about the instruction. I copy the files in the config folder and replace the original ones. I run the program as administrator but nothing appears on my screen. Do I have to copy and paste all the files in the skins folder (the ones in each folder like About, Icons, Search) or I just need to copy the entire folder Finder? My resolution is 1366x768 so do I need the exact resolution for the program to work? I really need your help

You can also delete the skins and configs folder of samurize. Afterwards copy the two complete t folders of this deviation to the plöace the old ones have been. Run the client exe as admin. This should do it for you.
Your resolution will be added the next two or three days, if you don't wanna do it yourself.The bar will appear anyways, only it is to long or to short, depending on which file you use.

It does appear but not the whole bar. It just shows the menu with the apple logo.

Ah okay. Click on the tray icon. A menu will open.Click on"Select config file" A new menu appears. Click on "Finder.ini". That should do it.

This bar already has a shadow. Only it is not activated. I wasn't sure if people like it with or without shadow.
You can add it yourself:
Click on the trayicon and press"Edit config file" A new window will come up. Press"File" in the menubar of this window.A dropdown menu will appear. Press"Merge" A new window with all configs will appear. Press"Shadow" and "Open"Afterwards press "File" again and press "Save"Restart Samurize and you are done.
