Description
Julia, a young sorceress, experiments with fire magic for the first time after daring the forbidden Binding ritual. She may now be more fire snake than human, but her magic power has increased a hundredfold.

I had the lineart for this sitting on my computer for the longest time — I drew it a year ago — but I didn't really do much shading until a few days ago when I pulled it back out of the "incomplete projects" bin and decided to finish it. This uses my new soft-shading technique, and I think uses it well: She's one of the best nagas I've ever drawn.

As usual, this was drawn 100% in CorelDRAW, as vector art, exclusively with a mouse, and maybe took thirty hours or so total, surprisingly less than I'd have expected.
