Description
"I require the solace of the shadows and the dark of the night. Sunshine is my destroyer"The Lord of Darkness from the film 'Legend'
Epically played by the amazing Tim Curry, and probably his best, yet most understated role, this character should surely go down in history as one of film's greatest and unique vilains. (unique for his ludicrously huge horns!)
Ridley Scott's epic fanatsy film Legend (starring a VERY young Tom Cruise) is unfortunately largely unknown, unless you're a child of the 80's, It definatley doesn't get the credit it deserves
Pencils on A5, 3.5 hours

I remember this movie! Well, I wasn't born in the 80's, but it scared me a little as a child.

I don't qualify as a child of the '80s (born in '89)... but that's why I'm grateful for my older brother and sister!
This portrait is amazing. I can't get over it.

I had to add this to my favs because it scared me! It's good when you can achieve that with a drawing!

Yeah it's quite scarey. Even better to achieve it when you don't normally draw things this small. The pic above is the actual size of the original drawing. I'm used to doing A3 stuff

Oh, I didnΒ΄t realize it was that small. How do you store your A3 artworks. IcanΒ΄t seem to find some suitable storage for A3.

I have a folder with clear pockets in to stor my work, Like a portfolio folder. It's easier to show people things and keeps all my work together.

OH! I recognized him instantly! I vaguely remember watching this movie as a child, along with "The Neverending Story", they were for some reason sold together.
