Man, I wish I coulda found tutorials like this back when I first got GIMP. I spent all my time miserably adapting Photoshop Tutorials.

Wow! I just got GIMP yesterday, and there are so many new things I'm learning about it!!! This is an awesome tutorial, I'm going to fave it. ^_^ I'd love to see a color tutorial!

I have a question... You didn't explain it too much, but how do you change the colors of your outlines? I still don't get it

Oh, and have the transperent layer highlighted when doing the lineart, forgot thar ^_^

But, Here's an idea I have. Make another layer off of the background one. Make sure this layer is transparent. Then, lower the opacity on the background layer, I think it would make the Line art more like the drawing, unless this does something bad, what do you think?
