Whil Brinstar is primarily composed of rock, Nofair's landscape wildly varies, consisting of hard volcanic rock, artificial forms made of steel and brick, and most interesting, pulsating translucent bubble-like structures of wildly different colors that appear to be living. Traversing Norfair is incredibly difficult, its level of heat only able to sustain the most resilient lifeforms.
