This old bloke was walking onto the moors. The sky was dramatic, and the wind was fresh. There is nothing for miles. I bet he felt like he owned the world.I liked the way the sun reflected on his face, and the clouds threw shadows on his back.

You seem to be really confused. I don't see any "daily deviant" here. This is what we call a daily deviation, which unlike your "daily deviant", is not based on technical perfection. It's something a GM finds impressive or interesting that they wanted to share with the community. Here's some reading to keep you from embarassing yourself further:

In addition to what Mollinda already said, remember the person who gets a DD didn't ask to get one. If you got a DD, how would you feel about people telling you there's much better work out there that deserves to be featured? (unless, of course, you had suggested it yourself)

If you don't like a DD, take it up with the GM who featured it. Or you can take it up with me, as I suggested it. It is rude, and a breach of DA etiquette, to comment thusly on the DD itself.
If you think there are better images, go ahead and suggest them. If you mean *your* image should be DDd, then I'm sure they accept self suggestions too
