Description
Hi guys, finally back on the internet, really sorry for the long absence.I always wanted to make a tutorial about how to make circle without the help of Photoshop, but I'm not very sure if there's already a tutorial about this on DA or not, but I guess it's alright since mine is quite simple.orz
I think most of the SAI user which is familiar with the shortcuts might know this small "trick", so this tutorial is aiming for both beginner and also novice SAI users.
I hope it's not too hard to understand, it's rather straight-forward I guess.^^

All you need is another vector editor where you can do circle without this sort of hmm... magic. Just copy and paste)Β

Yay that solved one problem but opened up another problem. The second problem is where is "Del" on your keyboard?

Are you serious? If so "Del" is whatever key you use to delete something. Usually to the right of the "Enter" key.

Aaaah please don't berate them for not knowing something
People don't know things sometimes and instead of making them feel bad and not helping them at all you could tell them nicely and we'd all be happy.
Aha //Rolls away//

Comments are very misleading because you can't see the person's face or hear their tone.
I was simply asking if he or she was serious, to know whether or not it was worth replying to the comment and offering help.
Which I did anyway, as you can (failed to?) see in my original comment.

I'm sorry but I am one of those few people who doesn't understand text format. Also on my computer there are two keys that can easily be mistaken for the "Del" key. First key I got is the delete key written in a extra small text than the other keys and the second key that I got is the "DellComp?" key that is for the computer help button (kind of weird since I have a HP computer) and also used to make certain short for my printer. Besides that it isn't located right next to the enter button but instead on the opposite side next to the "esc" button.Β

this is really smart and creative and if you want to add it to an allready existing lineart, you just merge them together, right?

Very helpful! Usually I'd just take a brush make a mark and the erase the middle, but this is much easier!

You have to do it with the lineart tool (curve)

ShyLeviathan In reply to ??? [2013-11-12 04:28:01 +0000 UTC]
What I would do is I would just take an opaque tool (such as the marker tool) and select a large brush size. I would then simply click once onto the canvas so that there's a large, filled-in dot on the page. I would then select the eraser, choose the setting that comes closest to the brush size, and erase as much of the center of the dot as I could until there was just an empty circle.Β
