Hi guys, finally back on the internet, really sorry for the long absence.
I always wanted to make a tutorial about how to make circle without the help of Photoshop, but I'm not very sure if there's already a tutorial about this on DA or not, but I guess it's alright since mine is quite simple.orz
I think most of the SAI user which is familiar with the shortcuts might know this small "trick", so this tutorial is aiming for both beginner and also novice SAI users.
I hope it's not too hard to understand, it's rather straight-forward I guess.^^

I always struggled with making circles... More often than not, ever since I acquired a tablet - making a circle to start off a head was painstakingly difficult and usually was the point of which my drawings would fall flat. So thank you very much for this! ^^

Note: If the del key is just the rotation shortcut. If it doesn't work look at SAI's keyboard shortcut commands and assign a key of your choice to the rotation command, it doesn't have to be del. Β Β

Thank you! But there's something I want to ask. If I draw the circle a bit tooΒ big or something, and I want to select it and change it, the select tool says theres nothing there... It's really frustrating. I just got SAI two days ago and I'm really getting the hang of it.Β It's just... this that's pissing me off. :T

I'm not sure if this'll help you but try selecting it normally (using either the selection or lasso tool), then go into Selection - Select Strokes in Selection, maybe? :3

You probably didn't rasterize the linework layer, you need to select the layer your circle is on, go up to "Layer (L)" on the top tool bar and then click "Rasterize Linework Layer (Z)". Hope this solved it!

What if we don't have a delete key? I'm doing this on a Macbook Pro and when I press the delete key, which is basically the backspace key for me, nothing happens...

I do not quite understand how I do make the circle itself, I do place the mouse and click "DEL" but I can`t see any sircle. Can someone explain this to me? (:

Before hitting the "DEL", just click once with the mouse to make one dot, then press "DEL"
