Description My sketches for exercises from lesson 1 on  drawabox.com
It actually taught me a lot. Now I can draw simple shapes with more confidence and my lines are not as shaky as they were before.

Hey man, nice start! Overall it looks like you are beginning to train your arm towards confidence, but remember to keep practicing these as warmups all the time.  Takes a long time to get your arm trained like Peter Han, and then you have to maintain it.  Keep working on the shapes of your ellipses, make them nice and even (this takes practice).  You seem to have the idea with the freehand perspective, that's good.  But with the Organic Perspective Boxes, you have to keep in mind how a box works!!  The lines have to look like they can meet.  Check out Draw a Box's tutorial on How to Draw a Box if you haven't already.  Use diminution and overlapping to make the boxes look like they are coming out at you.

Keep an eye on those things, and keep practicing!  That's the one thing you need to do to get gud, in the end.  Hope you are moving on too Lesson 2, it is fun. :3

Thanks for all of your suggestions!
When I finished the Organic Perspective Boxes exercise I wasn't entirely happy with the result and didn't know what to do to make it look better. With your comment and more exercises that I did in the meantime I think I would try to do this task again.

I've already finished the 2nd lesson and I will publish my homeworks soon.

And thanks for pointing me to the DrawABox group on DA! I didn't know it existed.

No problem!
Yes, you have to make sure the sides of those boxes look like they go to a vanishing point, even though we don't plot them out.  It's a tough exercise... not only do the boxes have to look like boxes, but they have to fit in with every other box.  The easiest way is to keep the perspective distortion about even over all the boxes and use overlapping and diminuation to read depth to the viewer.  Look forward to seeing your second go at Organic Boxes!!  They were my favorite exercise from Lesson 1.

Submit them to Draw a Box when you do.

It didn't, I had to create Drawabox group with Uncomfortable's blessing. XD
