yes, there is, actually! You have to do it manually, though. You have to edit it as if it were a facial. But instead of going through and moving verticies, you edit the texture in the texture tab. But both eye textures must be on the same texture. Also, you have to make sure you click the drop tab and click the "UV" option, in order to make the UV work.ย

OR, you can just add the regular eye behind the cyber eye, and make it move forward over the cyber eye as a facial.

First is cleaner and more convenient, second is easier.

I can get things to turn invisible as needed for a slider, but how do I get something to turn visible if I make it invisible to start with? I cannot seem to get it to work that way.

To Turn visible, you have to click the bubble at the top, and make everything "0" expect for the Two lone boxes to the right colors.ย

How do you paste the subset?

Sorry if I'm stupid owo

Pikadude31451 In reply to DeathBeGone [2013-06-11 04:33:59 +0000 UTC]

Oh, no!! You're not stupid!! It's hard your first time! You just have to right click the large white box next to the facial list, and click the last option that has "Index" in the choice (The ctrl+V option). You have to make sure you index/copy the supsets first.

hey its me again xD

hmm i wonder what numbers will do the desired color
like if i want black i know i need to put 0 on all of them but what about white ? o n o

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Pikadude31451 In reply to ZigTheRapist [2013-03-01 00:26:48 +0000 UTC]

Well, white is different. You can't make white with this method. You can only add color, not remove it. You can, however, make why by ticking the little bubble at the top leaving the rest default. It's much to harsh to use for a normal video, however. This is, like, so white, and there is not shading at all - best only for use in, like, Bad Apple Videos.

There is actually another way to do it, and you can still keep the shading while you're at it. I explained it here: fav.me/d6njunr

Pikadude31451 In reply to kochmann799 [2012-11-30 23:51:02 +0000 UTC]

Um, Texture sliders? Do you remember to set it to "UV" when you are making it? Also, Texture sliders only work for PMX.

I have a question in regards to this. I made a pair of color sliders for a model because I need a color transition for a comic. However, I can't use my shaders on the model. How can I fix this?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Pikadude31451 In reply to TimeTravelerEon [2012-11-28 04:47:28 +0000 UTC]

Did you remember to index the subsets? By doing that, you are telling the sliders with inputs to change.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

TimeTravelerEon In reply to Pikadude31451 [2012-11-28 04:52:02 +0000 UTC]

Yes, I did. I followed the instructions to the T, and the sliders themselves work fine, but I can't use shaders along with them. Does it have anything to do with the fact that the model didn't use actual textures and used solid color instead?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Pikadude31451 In reply to TimeTravelerEon [2012-11-28 05:06:53 +0000 UTC]

I don't think it happened because of colors instead of textures, because this Big Al model doesn't use many textures... I've never expearemented mixing sliders with MME shaders. I have never had problems with it. If you want me to take a quick look at it, you can note me the model?

But I'm confused on the way to read this ... Is it up to down, or left to right?

oopsies

I updated it for you - I added the numbers for the steps. It was suppose to be read from top to bottom, than back up to the right.

Hmm... Do you mean "where" can you get a PMX model from? Well, Ginjishi's new models are PMX. And My Galaco Edit is a PMX, and has a LOT of sliders, too.

Download the PMX editor? It comes with the PMD editor. The English version is not compatible with PMX. The version i'm using is 1.38... I think.
