    "No! No! How'd he-"

    "Jump now!! Spar-"....

    “What about-”

    "Forget about it! Just go! I'll be just behind! GO! Before it's too late! JUMP!"

*Flash*

    A Pikachu gasps for air, she felt water all around her. She swam up to breath, but as she did a wave crashed into her, dragging her down. Lightning flashed, thunder roared, rain poured down. She was in the middle of an awful storm. She was swimming against the current, struggling for air. Finally gasped a breath. (Help!) She tried to shout, but another wave crashed into her, dragging her further down. (No! I can't die like this!) She felt the current pushing against her, she could no longer fight it.

    (But how did I get here? How did I get here? What happened?)

The current carried her away. She felt weak and out of breath. And suddenly everything went black.

    She washed up on a beach. She opened her eyes weakly, she saw rocks and sand, but it was all blurry. She felt wet and heavy. She couldn't move her arms and legs. Her body was dead weight. Her eyes became blurry and the last thing she saw was a bright light rising up.

            A Riolu is tearing through his home, turning over boxes in front of a door, looking through boxes. He then throws the last empty box on the ground and let out a shout of frustration.

            “Arceus! Where the heck is it?!” He plops into his bed and lifts his pillow, to throw it, but then there it was. What he was looking for. “Are you kidding me?!”

            What the Riolu was looking for was a rock with a strange pattern on it. He found it on his travels when coming to Treasure Town to join the Guild. However, the Guild was closed because the mons just returned from a five year expedition. So, he had to wait until tomorrow before going. The Riolu looked outside his home, which was inside a cliff called Sharpedo Bluff, the mouth of it was open, which he had been trying to think of ways to build or buy a window or something to cover from storms. Like the night before, it was a bad storm and he had to make sure everything was secure since the wind and rain was blowing into his home. Normally, it wouldn’t be an issue, but last night was just bad.

            The Riolu sighed and got up, still carrying his rock. (I think I need to clear my head….) He got a small sack, placed his rock into the sack, walked out of his home and headed towards the beach. Passing town, he had a strange feeling of being watched, but he shook it off. He reached the beach and looked out to the sea. Krabbys were on the rocks and blowing bubbles, which they glowed against the rays of the sun, which was about to set. Which the Riolu finally smiled, feeling a lot better.

    But then, something caught his eye. “Huh? What’s-” He walked closer and realized there was a Pikachu passed out on the beach, which he gasped in shock and ran up to it. “Hey! Hey! Wake up!”

    “Hey! Hey! Wake up!” The Pikachu felt someone shaking her. “Wake up! Come on!”

    The Pikachu slowly opened her eyes, but then felt something in her throat. She coughed and water came out of her mouth, and she gagged realizing it was salty.

    As she was gathering herself, the voice spoke again, and she turned her head to it and saw a Riolu. He sighed. “Arceus, you’re alive! That’s a relief!”

    The Pikachu blinked and was confused. “Wha-” But she coughed again, salt water still in her mouth and it was beginning to dry up.

    “Easy.” The Riolu reassured. “Are you okay? Do you need something?”

    The Pikachu tried to sit up, but she felt so exhausted and couldn’t. So, she tried to clear her throat to speak. “Wa-Water…Pl…please…” She coughed again.

    The Riolu nodded and ran off. The Pikachu looked around and noticed she was on a beach, but nothing looked familiar. (Where am I? What am I doing here?)

    (“Sparkle?”)

    The Pikachu perked up when she heard a voice and looked around but saw no one. Then after a few moments, the Riolu came back with some water, fresh water in a cup and handed it to her. Which the Pikachu started to reach out but then noticed her arm and ‘hand’. She froze and stared at it. (What the heck?!) She retreated her paw and just stared at it, looking at it like she couldn’t believe what she was seeing and even looked at her other arm.

    “Erm….Are you okay?” The Riolu asked, bit weirded out.

    The Pikachu looked at him in shock, but she couldn’t speak well since her mouth was dry. She reached for the cup and drank the fresh water. Which tasted so good to her. Once she finished, she tried to sit up again, which she managed to. She let out a deep sigh and cleared her throat.

    “What am I?” She asked the Riolu.

    The Riolu was taken aback. “Wha- You’re a Pikachu? Did you bump your head or something? That’s a weird thing to ask.”

    The Pikachu’s eyes widen in shock. “A….A Pikachu?!”

    She looked around and saw the water, which she was hesitant to go up to, but she had to see for herself. She went up to the water and stared into the water. A Pikachu was staring right back at her. (I’m….I’m a Pikachu? How?! I was human! I know I was! How did I turn into a Pikachu?!)

    “Um…are you okay, Pikachu?” The Riolu asked skeptically.

    The Pikachu turned to the Riolu, her heart pounding. “Wh…where am I? Who are you?”

    The Riolu tilted his head in confusion, but answered, “You’re near a town called Treasure Town, and I am Isaac…. Do you…have a name?”

    The Pikachu blinked and nodded. “Yes, my name is Sparkle…but…” She glanced back at her reflection. “I…I shouldn’t be a Pikachu. I am human. I WAS human!”

    “Human?” Isaac exclaimed. “But you look like a normal Pikachu, except you look taller. But how can a human turn into a Pokemon? Did you really hit your head or something?”

    Sparkle stared at Isaac in shock, she felt hurt that she wasn’t believed, but it hit her that this was unheard of. She didn’t know what to say and her ears drooped down in sadness. She looked down at the ground and tried to remember, but she couldn’t. Nothing came to her mind. Just her name and that she was a human. (Why is nothing coming to my mind? Why can’t I remember anything? When was I human? Heck, was I ever human? Though I feel as though I was, but now I am not. I’m a Pikachu… However, I am not too disappointed at that, being a Pokemon might be cool, though I don’t know how to do anything. How do I even use attacks? Does it just happen? Do I think it?)

    Sparkle felt a paw on her shoulder, it was Isaac, he was still there. “Hey…are you okay? I didn’t mean to offend you, it just sounds…. bizarre.”

    Sparkle sighed, sadly. “I don’t know….I don’t know what’s going on… I can’t remember anything, just my name and I was human. I know I was, but there isn’t anything that’s coming to my mind. No family or friends. Not even a memory… I guess….I did hit my head on something….”

    “I’m…sorry… Is there something I can do to help?” Isaac asked, a bit hesitantly.

    “I don-” Sparkle was about to respond, but then something rammed into Isaac.
