These spherical beasts float around aimlessly, looking for the next sucker to gobble up, and for the more faster prey, they spit out an electric ball that stuns them for a small amount of time, giving the slow floaters a chance to eat them. The Hierarchy uses Cacodemons as just mere fodder, because Cacos are really dumb and can't be tamed, all they know is float and eat.

Cacodemons have a mutated subspecies known as the Wretched, and their offspring are referred to as Malwraths. It's thought that are Cacos and Pain Elementals are related somewhat, it could be the case, but nothing can be certain.
