This is a tutorial that teaches you ONE way to make fire in photoshop.
The tutorial is for Photoshop.

Additional notes on Tutorial: Keep in mind this is not the only way to make fire in photoshop. This is however the easiest way that I HAVE FOUND. colors used in this tutorial do not have to be red, orange, or yellow, fire can be any color you choose HOWEVER i do suggest that if you pic a color like blue, the rest of the colors should match it. Don't use for example yellow, blue, and pink.
You do not have to shrink the fire at the end i just think that if you make it twice the size you need then shrink it, that it looks better.

If you followed the instructions the black background is not part of the fire and can be removed so that the fire can be used with other images.
