In the reference scripture listed (Genesis 30:37-39 ), the patriarch, Jacob, believes making marks on sticks and having his livestock stare at them while they fuck will cause their offspring to be born with that very pattern on their coat. And hey, what do you know, in the biblical tale, that's exactly how it works!

Clearly however, the authors of the bible, whether man or god or man inspired by a god, had absolutely no idea about genetics. And that's why Intelligent Design which is demonstratively based on biblical magic, IS NOT SCIENCE.

Thanks! And I am well aware that the bible is discriminatory bullshit.

I remember this passage.. I used it once when some tried to tell me how scientifically "accurate" the bible is.. Genetics... FTW...

When I lived in the city, on trains or buses.. fundies would always sit next to me ask the fatal question.. "Have you accepted blh blh blh.. in to you heart..? I learnt all these passages to throw at them em.. they soon vacate the seat or I have fun making them look shit up.. to prove I have it wrong.. The usual reply is you are reading it wrong. Plain reading is wrong, (I have been told..) you need special reading... This is honestly what I was told..

Right, the special reading that you can only acquire ONCE you've been filled with the holy ghost. How convenient!

Honestly, that's the idea. I want people to see how ridiculously characterized scripture can be, and to go and actually read it for themselves. Thanks again for checking it out!! It's sincerely appreciated!!

That's cool, I can usually get your cartoons right away, but this one is one of the more bizarre stories that aren't usually tackled by skeptics of the Bible, it's an interesting one though and your take on it did put a smile on my face
