It's just that most atheists here on deviantart claim that their lack of religion makes them "enlightened" or more "intelligent" than theists. Many atheists, however, still rely on rely on stereotypes and are threatened whenever they encounter someone who challenges those stereotypes.
Most atheists (including fiskefyren)also demonstrate anti-intellectualism by shutting out anybody who questions or disagrees with them and surround themselves with lickspittles and sycophants.
My point is that atheists claim to better than us theists but prove to be just as narrow-minded and petty as we are.

Being narrow minded and petty really is a part of being human, hence why it is a trait seen in both religious and atheists. The long history of tribalism and violent, raging ignorance is hard to overcome. This is one of the reasons why 'rationality' is seen (by atheists) as a virtue to strive for; realizing that you are a narrow-minded, petty, and ignorant savage is the first step towards changing that. But that does not mean that deriving amusement from low brow humor that relies on stereotypes is no longer possible.
Atheists are baby murdering, god hating, out to destroy the world's source of morality and dance in the ashes of burning churches bastards in the same way that the religious are science denying, crusade starting, misogynistic, homophobic, 'burn the witches and all who disagree with us' buffoons that are better off in the caves. Everyone is easy to stuff into a stereotype despite the majority of it not being true. Well, except for Scientologists, they are just bats hit crazy to believe that crap. (joke)
