I never liked Bill Cosby much, to me he seemed far too safe and disneyfied. It's like his whole schtick was built around being as non-threatening as possible. he's like the opposite of Eddy murphy.
but never in a million years would I have imagined that he'd be a serial rapist.
So seeing this here really captures that god awful aspect of him.

I think I went brain-dead right around the bit where you said "rape culture". If anything, the U.S.A. is the apotheosis of an anti-rape culture- well, as far as the rape of females goes, anyways, since most claims of rape from men are laughed at. I'm not sure that you know this, but in prisons rapists and pedophiles (the two groups that are supposed to be supported by a "rape culture") have to be given private blocks because if they were in the public areas of the prison they would get beaten and killed within days of arrival. Even the murderers and gangsters hate rapists with a passion, and that's not even mentioning the amount of false rape charges from women that pass with the male "rapist" declared guilty. If you take this into account along with the growing restrictions of consent imposed by SJWs and others of the third wave, how in any way can this be considered to be a rape culture without complete ignorance or stupidity?
On to your other point, the fact that the rape charges are long-spanning are only further evidence that they may be untrue. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and as far as I'm aware none of the rape accusations have been even close to verification. The people that support Cosby know that the amount and diversity of the claims is ludicrous and don't want to see an icon of American comedy ruined just because some women hold silly grudges against him, and I am among them because I see no reason to label Cosby a serial rapist without sufficient evidence. If it turns out that the claims are substantiated, I will change my stance, but the fact is that the claims don't have the evidence needed to verify their contents and I will continue to take them with a grain of salt until such evidence arises.
