He was only the Son of YHWH when he became human because the Messiah had to begotten of YHWH, that is why he is called the Logos/Logic in the beginning of the Gospel of John and at the end of his millennial reign he will surrender all authority to the father which just means he will stop operating as the Son of YHWH because he has judged both the wicked men and the rebellious gods(Divine Beings), thus returning to his original form the Logic/YHWH Elohim.
