Here is a super realistic photoshop painting i did of a shark...i didn't mean to get so detailed but it just kept building and building and i love it! hope you like it as a wallpaper.I know it's in the Fantasy section but i don't really know what other section i should put it in. Scenery maybe, but i thought the surrealistic lighting on this makes for great daydreamin.

Looking really really nice, glad you branched out into digital painting....
It's a excellent wallpaper and painting, the shark is really well done, and the tones are nice...along with the reflections. The reflections of the waters surface and rays are done excellent, you can see this on your shark. The bg is also well done, the bottom I like the most...Though I do feel that the blurryness of the top could of been avoided, maybe sharpen it a bit ...but still leave it a bit blurry you know? ...thats just me talking, lol...Its a great job, well done .

thanks man, i totally understand what you mean on the top...it should be sharper the more it gets closer to the viewer. what i did was use the wacom with some various colored swooped strokes and then put a blur filter on it to make it look more real than stroke marks alone would of.....i might end up redoing that part, and darkening up the water and maybe adding some sparkles like sediment being swished around from the bottom in the sunlight.

thanks man! i totally got inspired to do this surrelistic zodiac series and in the process of doing a fish study, this came out and i was really happy with it.

well i was tryin to make it like he was in the middle of the ocean scene...but there is ground close to the top of the ocean and that is only near shore i guess. Oh well, like i said, it's a study piece.

yeah..well under water the further away you are from whatever it is or in this case the background, gets darker unlike on the surface where the further away you are the lighter it gets...

thanks! i was really pleased with this, it is actually the first piece i've completely created with photoshop that's all mine from start to finish. I usually do other peoples ink work and color it but this is all mine baby!

sure you could man, you just gotta work at it until it's perfect! i'm not the greatest and the only reason is cause i'm lazy when it comes to drawing...that's the only thing stopping me from having a comic book....i'm too damned lazy to draw the fuckin backgrounds...DAMN ME AND MY LAZY ASS!
