Description
As revealed at the recent CITY OF HEROES Player Summit, we're about to update the Tier 9 Paragon Reward slots with an all-new, Elemental-themed costume set. (Concept art shown here.) Both Fire and Ice variations will be available, and as usual for T9, the set comes jammed-packed with awesome extras.For example, Ice Armor comes with:
--cracked ice flow base layer w/ scrolling water texture
--rock layer A
--rock plus ice crystal layer B
--asymmetrical arms
--ice weapons (including a new Titan sword!)
--FX helmet
--waterfall cape

Agreed, novispoon. The ice just isn't working... it looks like a variation of the fire set. Still very cool, but not icy. Could just be the pulse shouldn't happen with ice... not sure.
But I am far from done playing with it to get it to work though. Past time to get more cold sets.

I haven't fired up the beta, but I read the beta forums an saw these (like I said on the fire deviation). The waterfall cape is a jaw-dropper, in a good way. Again the problem I'm having is that those on the forum haven't been able to make the ice look good. The ice sword...if it looked in game like it does here, it'd work great, but it looks more like dull stone than shiny ice in game.

2D and 3D art are different animals, so there are bound to be some differences. Last I saw though, the 3D was looking really cool!

I honestly have no idea which of my characters would need a waterfall coming from their back, but I know i want those waterfalls.
Now if only I could pair the waterfall FX with another backpack and make Sunshine super Mario... >.>

Now if we wanted to be ridiculous, a matching path/trail aura would be NPCs who spawn in and leave "Caution: Wet Floor" signs in your wake.
