Description Six massive figural statues frame the Magisterium neighborhood: one for Emperor Cole himself, cast in alabastor, and five others for his "Praetors" (senatorial lieutenants), cast in bronze.

Each statue is itself framed by decorative circular grounds. We eventually striped this back to mainly brick, fence, and concrete, but originally we were thinking of ponds, flowers, and other details.

It would be AWESOME to have these as purchasable figurines!

I found myself honestly preferring these statues to many of the ones in Primal earth, even if they are of people who's butts I will kick later.
This is because they're, despite being a sort of Dictator and his lieutenants, much more modestly sized compared to the sky scrapper monuments in Paragon, and you can actually tell the people these statues are based off of from one another.
Meanwhile, even in the revamped Atlas, only the titular Atlas statue has been upgraded at all, and the rest lack even distinct poses, much less something to suggest their tights didn't double as their skin.

While I like the giant scale of the Atlas statues, I'm of course very happy with how these turned out. It's really easy to see ALL the various details on the costumes, and that's a big improvement.

Very much. I also love how you can actually identify what the statues are made of than the vague, steely-concrete... stuff?

Modern texture tricks. Would love to do more of this, but it takes a ton of work from both a character and environment artist.

oh, ouch. Texture maps have gotten a lot more complicated since the days of the Duke Nukem build Engine it seems.
