Description This is my second submission to 's Triumph of Scrapworld contest.

Scrapworld Bio
Matteo, once a powerful Makuta was yet another notable victim to the mutagen, turning him into a disfigured slave to the horde. Matteo went from being another scrap beast, wondering the wastelands of Bara Magna to becoming Arachnes's pet. Peering into the mind that used to be she found him peculiar and interesting. "Such a dignified mind would be delightfully cruel jest." So she made him her puppet. reshaping his body, leaving just enough biological components to sustain his life, and just enough of the mechanical ones to have limited movement inside a wooden casing made of wood from a few trees recovered from what was left of the jungles of Aqua-magna.
As Arachne stripped away the infected parts of his body, and thereby the mutagen, Matteo slowly reclaimed his mind, such was her intent.
I know not what is a worse fate, having become a slave to that terrible mutagen, or having survived it, only to return to a body that is not my own. ~Dottore Matteo"

about the MOC
I've wanted to do this for a while. In the picture of Arachne(linked above) You can see that there is "mini-Matteo-nette", which I still have, but is no longer strung. This was my first attempt at this concept. After trying it out with him, I knew that I had wanted to come back to this idea and reattempt this concept since I wasn't satisfied with the results. This version is a lot better, but still has some slight issues. Once I have more string parts, I may give this a version two update. But overall, I'm very satisfied with the MOC.

Yeah, I think something along the lines of the Da Vinci flying machines would be best.

I need some of that webbing if I'm to make a fully lego newton's cradle..

Hehe that'd be cool. I've seen one made though. They don't work all that well. The balls have to be metal for optimal effect.

You'd need metal balls to do that, plastic balls don't transfer the kinetic energy prpoerly.

You re-made him into a lego marionette ? SICKLY AWESOME ! Your skills with lego pieces are awesome, and the lego version is very accurate to the bionicle/technic one ! Good job

Yes. Thank you. It wasn't all that hard to get him as close as I did. I had the actual one sitting next to me the whole time, and could look at what needed to go where. The proportions are somewhat off on the Marionette, but they're supposed to be since a marionette is a caricature of something else usually.

Heh, he looks great. I also love the handle-stick-thingy. The 'title' is nice too. He works very well, standing next to Matteo. The story is awesome

Thanks Tom. I like that I actually bothered to use tan pieces, so it looks more like maple wood. I think that really sells the "marionette" theme.
Glad you like the story. Though I left some parts out. I'll probably go back and add onto it when the contest is over.

Definitely. I could find so many uses for it. I should really get some more off bricklink.

A puppet...that would be pretty crappy...xD Storyline-wise that is.

Oh I see. Hmmm No I don't think so. I kinda forgot to put in the part where Matteo is plotting his escape. So he's "in there" trying to figure out a way out. Like I said, he has limited self mobility.

Thanks. Well its one I've technically for a while, since I had Mini-Matteo-nette. But I fleshed it out more.
