Looks pretty much like my own workflow, even though I havenΒ΄t used clouds that much before, only stuff rendered out with apophysis. Using a render to add color is also much faster than adding them manually, needs only a few clicks of manipulating & thatΒ΄s it. Hmm, should really experiment with clouds more still, they seem like a decent way to get more detail & shape to a nebula fast.

Aaah, simple to follow, yet still effective. I have heard of using clouds for nebulae a few times before. But I usually just brush mine out manually. Maybe I could try this sometime if I need more realism.
Nebula's are essentually just clouds after all.
