Enter Tyler the Shiny Eevee, this is the comic I’ve been talking about for a while and I like the this one since it has a lot going on as far as foreshadowing is concerned. The characters we see go as follow, Solar and Shadow of course, Blaze, Tyler, Harvest, and Aura. There’s also a third Eevee but he hasn’t been formerly introduced yet, so he’ll remain unnamed for now.

First is Blaze is Solar’s older sister and is a Flareon. She is physically the strongest of the protagonists. Blaze has three sons, and is also raising them alone. She is pretty caring and also has a strong community presence, as she knows almost everybody from the valley and also has lots of friends that she’ll be mentioning that will probably never actually appear.

Tyler is the shiny eevee and is also the youngest. He is Shiny, as such Blaze worries about him more than the other two. Tyler has no idea what he wants to evolve into, unlike his other two brothers and will spend the series trying to decide that.

Harvest is the second brother and son to Blaze and the one we see here playing with Tyler. Harvest name is self given, he chose it cause he wants to become Leafeon, and it also gets into a concept the Pokemon take in this series. When they evolve, they typically take on anew identity to fit the new form. Harvest chose that name to go with the grass type evolution.

The third brother won’t be talked about much till latter down the line. He is the oldest and seen at the end. He doesn’t know what he wants to evolve into, but he does know when. Otherwise, this plot will be continued somewhere down the line.

Aura is the final new character, she will also have more to do with the plot when the day she is foreseeing has come, for now she is just being introduced and that’s about it.

Pokemon I want to talk to about here, Flareon mostly. I’ll save Absol for latter, but I do want to talk about that one too. Flareon has got to be one of the most dissed on evolution I think I have ever seen. Why? Flareon is usually blamed for having a limited move pool and/or having a 130 in ATK instead of SP.Atk. I disagree, Move tutors give Flareon lots of useful attacks, Double edge and Body slam in gen 3, gen 4 gives you Super power and head butt, and Gen 5 offers it Iron tail (and Super power) plus it has solid defenses if you run a lava plume set. I traded one about the various games and got mine to have Lava plume, Super power, take down, and Iron tail and had it hold a white herb. With that it gets to use Super power for 130 base attack without the penalty, it can cut my opponent’s ATK in half by using Lava plume, which has a high burn chance and also gives a fire move, allowing it to wall since its SP.D is 95, which is pretty solid for this thing, I also raised Eevee to lv.30 and picked up Take down before evolving it, so it has that too (Double edge is also an option if you want more damage), and the final move I put was Iron tail, giving it a rock coverage move and also has a good chance of lowering my opponent’s DEF, which really makes a difference when I throw out a 130 base ATK super power at them. So yeah, I don’t really see why people diss Flareon so much, it has some issues, it’s slow and doesn’t take recoil damage to well but it has options and mine has performed really well with this move set. I’ve always thought the real reason people don’t like Flareon is because it needs maintenance. One nice thing about the Eeveelutions is they come with what you want for the most part and are quick and easy to raise. Flareon takes some work to make it perform well, as I said I had to shift mine from Heart Gold (Where my Take down Flareon happened to be) to Platinum (for Super power) to Black 2 (for Iron tail) in order to get all the moves it has then raise it to lvl 37 to get Lava plume on it and get it a White herb too. So yeah, that’s my speal on Flareon, perfect no but I disagree that it has no options and a poor move pool, maybe through leveling but it gets lots of interesting Tutor moves to try out.

Also I have had a busy weekend with surgery prep and a few other things so I didn't have time to shade this one, I'll release an update when I get the chance. Also Cretaceous Isle will be released next week, I'm pretty much bed ridden for a couple of days (This is being uploaded on a laptop and I know I can't draw with the track pad thing, whatever its called, so yeah, that's also how I'm uploading it at all, since my computer still refuses to work in the submition area but everybody else's seems just fine).
