I agree totally with the left part, but I don't see how it has any relevance to the FACT that Jerusalem is Israel's capital.

Tel-Aviv is, for much of it.
And so Ramalha i think, for Palestinians.
Its sadly national pride on both sides.. If JΓ©rusalem wasnt so holy...

That's actually an interesting idea, but I don't know if either side would be willing to do it.

DonΒ΄t know where you get that "FACT". But acording to The International Court of Justice, principal judicial organ of the United Nations:
"Israel is under an obligation to terminate its breaches of international law; it is under an obligation to cease forthwith the works of construction of the wall being built in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including in and around East Jerusalem, to dismantle forthwith the structure therein situated, and to repeal or render ineffective forthwith all legislative and regulatory acts relating thereto, in accordance with paragraph 151 of this Opinionβ
- By fourteen votes to one.
Released in Hague 2004
So, the fact is: "The Court finds that the construction by Israel of a wall in the Occupied Palestinian
Territory and its associated rΓ©gime are contrary to international law; it states the legal consequences arising from that illegality"

Note again that Palestinians could do the same and accept Ramalha(?)...
It would be better maybe if Jerusalem became a neutral ground, not of both, or shared somehow. One or other.

ISrael must obey the International Court of Justice about Jerusalem case. Nothing is said about Ramallah.

I know, but an alternate option that would be good for me is that both sides would accept their real, administrative capitals, who already work fine (well, Tel-Aviv more considering what we talk off..).
Jerusalem is damn touchy subject, keeping it neutral if it cant be shared at all would be wise for me.
Enfin, my foreigner opinion.

Again, I agree with what you just said, but I don't see how it has anything to do with Israel's capital.

So how does the ICJ and the UN plan to enforce this? By saying "Stop ... or I'll say 'stop' again"?

Madby you could intervien and talk to your nobel peace prize president Obama in order to comand NATO and the marines to go to Palestine and stop Israel siege and the 400.000 settelments.

Why would I want to tell someone where they can and can not build in their own country? That's ludicrous ....

It depends from who and place are you talking about. If you refer to Israel building jewish settlements in "occupyed palestinian territory", they just simply canΒ΄t, under international law, to built in Gaza, in the West Bank including East Jerusalem. Simple as that.
